Free and reduced-price school meals
Check whether your children qualify.
School breakfast and lunch can take pressure off the grocery budget. Many families qualify for free or reduced-price meals, and some schools serve free meals to all students.
How to check
- Ask your school or district office for the meal application
- Households on SNAP are often approved automatically
- Ask about summer meal programs for when school is out
